(Des Moines, IA) -- Police are investigating a Court Avenue shooting that left two women in the hospital early Sunday morning.
Police say foot patrol officers heard gunshots coming from 216 Court Avenue, the building that houses businesses like The District and Shag's, just after 1 a.m. When they walked inside they found two women with gunshot injuries.
Both women were taken to local hospitals where they're expected to survive.
