(Des Moines, IA) -- A man has reportedly been posing as a fundraiser for Blank Hospital looking for donations in Des Moines. A resident in Waveland Park warned neighbors on social media that the man came to his front door without any credentials. When the resident refused to give a donation, the guy became annoyed and tried to pressure him to give a donation. The resident called Blank hospital and he says Blank says it is not doing door to door fundraising.
Blank Children's Hospital-Unity-Point Health Spokesperson Macinizie McFarland tells WHO Radio News they are not involved in any door-to-door fundraising and it's not the health system's policy to raise funds in that manner.
