OMAHA, Nebraska -- A community vaccination clinic in North Omaha today will administer the Johnson and Johnson vaccine.
The single dose Johnson and Johnson vaccine will be available at the drive thru clinic at the Fort Omaha campus of Metropolitan Community College.
It's the first large-scale clinic to resume use of the vaccine in Douglas County after it was halted two weeks ago over concerns about blood clots, which included one case from Nebraska.
The state Department of Health and Human Services is sponsoring the Fort Omaha clinic.
