Iowa Cubs to host COVID vaccination clinics before games

(Des Moines, IA) -- I-Cubs fans will be able to get a COVID-19 vaccination before ball games, starting next week. The first clinic will be next Tuesday night before the game. No appointment is required. Fans will be able to choose between the Pfizer or the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. Clinics begin one hour before first pitch.

Individuals who receive the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine can receive their second dose of the vaccine at their local Hy-Vee Pharmacy 21 days after their first dose.

Hy-Vee is recommending vaccine recipients bring the following to their vaccination: insurance card (if they have insurance) and Medicare Part B red, white and blue card (if Medicare recipient); and photo ID. Masks are required. If individuals do not have insurance, they can still be vaccinated.
