The CIA has a new recruitment video. It runs for slightly over two minutes and features an agent who tells us she is "intersectional" "cisgender" and "millennial" to name but a few.
We are told that the agent used to have "'imposter syndrome", but now she has embraced herself "unapologetically" and refuses to internalize "misguided patriarchal ideas of what a woman can or should be."
On line reaction has been swift. Former CIA Agent Bryan Dean Wright said in a Tweet: "The CIA used to be about mission to country. (I speak from experience). Now it's about demanding — and getting — accommodation to fix an emotional wound or advance a personal agenda. America is less safe with this new CIA, and dangerously more political."
What do you think? Does the CIA's new "woke" recruitment commercial weaken the USA?
