(Des Moines, IA) -- People in Des Moines looking for a spot for their business can find a lot of space downtown. Greater Des Moines Partnership's Tim Leach tells WHO Radio News there's about 160-thousand-square feet of retail space and just under 60-thousand-square feet is available. That's about 36% of all commercial space vacant and the pandemic has a lot to do with it. Leach says right now is a great time for an aspiring entrepreneur to find a space because more people are out and about and therefore so is supply and demand.
