WEST DES MOINES, Iowa - An Urbandale woman is charged with attempted murder in a West Des Moines stabbing investigation.
Police say 24-year-old Dalia Brown stabbed a 22-year-old man multiple times in the torso. The stabbing took place at an apartment complex near EP True Parkway and Valley West Drive (210 S. 41stStreet - Chapel Ridge Apartments Complex) last Monday.
Officers say a domestic dispute had turned violent, with a man being taken to a hospital in critical condition with life-threatening injuries.
Police said Brown fled the scene before officers arrived. She was arrested and charged Thursday.
Brown is charged with one count of attempted murder and is being held in the Polk County Jail on a $50,000 bond.
