Does Iowa need law to hold tech giants accountable for censorship?

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis signed what he calls The Big Tech Bill yesterday.

The law does two main things. First it enables citizens to sue the likes of Facebook, Twitter and others for up to $100,000 in damages for each proven claim.

According to Fox Business quoting the Governor, "the law requires companies to detail how they reach conclusions about content moderation and stick to those standards consistently."

The second thing it does is to allow Florida's Attorney General to bring action against those same companies if they ban people like President Trump or Laura Loomer as it prohibits the de-platforming of political candidates.

Do you think Iowa needs a law like this?
