OMAHA, Nebraska -- Strong storms are possible across Nebraska tonight and tomorrow.
The National Weather Service says storms could start tonight around midnight in Southeastern Nebraska and Western Iowa.
They say it'll start partly cloudy and transition into severe weather mainly after 6 p.m.
The heat sets in with temperatures in Omaha and Lincoln expected to be in the 80s.
Omaha has a lower chance for severe weather than Lincoln.
Possible threats include damaging winds, large hail, heavy rain, and isolated tornadoes.
The highest risk for severe weather is in Central Nebraska south across the Missouri border.
