DES MOINES, Iowa - Governor Kim Reynolds is ordering flags to be lowered to half-staff until Sunday to honor the victims killed in this week's mass shooting in San Jose, California.
Nine people were killed when a gunman opened fire before killing himself at the Valley Transportation Authority rail yard.
The Governor issued her order in conjunction with President Joe Biden's proclamation.
Flags will be at half-staff at the State Capitol Building and on flag displays in the Capitol Complex. They'll also be half-staff at all public buildings and grounds in the state.
