(Des Moines, Iowa) -- A new report says Des Moines has one of the fastest-growing immigrant populations in the country.
The group Heartland Forward looks at a 20-state region in the central U.S. where they say the foreign born population has grown nearly 10-percent in a decade.
The report says places like Des Moines, Cincinnati, Kansas City, and Indianapolis have expanded their immigrant population more than hubs like Los Angeles, New York City, and Boston.
