STUART, Iowa - A worker is recovering after getting stuck in the blade of a wind turbine in Adair County.
MidAmerican Energy say the contract worked became stuck in the hub of a wind turbine at its Arbor Hill wind farm near Stuart.
The company confirms emergency crews got the worker out safely. He was sent to the hospital for evaluation, but has no serious injuries.
MidAmerican has paused all work at the site while it’s investigating the mishap. The company says there were no service disruptions.
