(Waukee, IA) -- The city of Waukee is launching the Countdown To Kindergarten Day Camp at Fox Creek Pavilion. The Waukee Parks and Recreation website says future kindergartners will be doing activities that will help them prepare for school this fall. It says themes for each day are designed to excite and expose campers to topics such as numbers, letters, and colors. Campers will also participate in STEM activities like coding robots, utilizing 3D pens and more. The week long day camps start in July and parents can sign their kids up on the parks and recreation website.
