(Des Moines, Iowa) -- A Des Moines woman convicted of trying to intentionally kill two minority children with her car is sentenced to over 17 years in prison.
Nicole Poole was sentenced to two 17.5 year sentences to be served concurrently.
Poole pled guilty in the case and admitted to police that in December of 2019 and shortly after smoking meth, she intentionally tried to run over the two children because they were minorities.
