OMAHA, Nebraska -- Today is one of the cooler days of the week.
The National Weather Service says temperatures are expected in the low 90s today and tomorrow, before jumping up closer to 100 degrees by Thursday.
There are chances for an isolated thunderstorm or two on Friday and temperatures will be cooler heading into the weekend.
It will be primarily dry through the week. The National Weather Service says the chances for rain won't likely help drought conditions.
According to the U.S. Drought Monitor, every county in the Nebraska Panhandle and several northeastern counties near the South Dakota border are abnnormally dry.
