(Des Moines, Iowa) -- A national financial website lists Iowa among the country's top ten states to live in.
A new study from WalletHub.com ranks Iowa the 9th overall best state to live in based on over 50 factors. Jill Gonzalez with WalletHub says Iowa does particularly well in terms of its economy, education and healthcare.
Iowa tops the list of states for housing costs. Gonzalez says housing costs rankings are based on comparing home prices to average income. Neighboring Nebraska is ranked #2 in the nation for housing costs.
