WATERLOO, Iowa -- The pigs are alright.

Waterloo Fire Rescue is confirming a truck carrying hogs tipped over at Logan Avenue and Donald Street this morning.

Captain Kevin Lee tells WMT Radio News no one is hurt after the driver took the corner too quickly on it's way to Tyson.

The area was blocked while crews cleared the scene and unloaded the pigs.

It's now open again to traffic.
