Concert to benefit Iowa missing boy's reward fund

(Poweshiek County, IA) -- There's a benefit concert and silent tonight (Tuesday night) at the Poweshiek County Iowa Fairgrounds, to support a reward fund for a missing Iowa boy. Eleven-year-old Xavior Harrelson was last seen in his hometown of Montezuma May 27th, 2021. His disappearance sparked an extensive search and has led to neighbors raising money for a fund in the case.

The concert is set to go from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Poweshiek County Fairgrounds in Grinnell. Country music performer Adam Whitehead will be headlining the concert. Iowan Hunter Mason will also perform. People are encouraged to wear orange, Xavior's favorite color.

The Poweshiek County Sheriff’s Office said Harrelson was last seen at around 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 27. He was last known to be wearing a red t-shirt, blue pajama pants, and black high-top shoes. He has brown hair and blue eyes, and he is about 4′8″ tall and 100 pounds.
