(Des Moines, IA) -- Authorities are releasing the name of a man found dead in the Des Moines River. The body of 34-year-old Justin Lee Gilliland was pulled from the water near the Euclid Avenue bridge Saturday around 1:30 p.m.
Police say there was no evidence of traumatic injury to the body, and no indications of a criminal act as a contributing factor to Gilliland’s death.
The cause and manner of death are undetermined, pending additional autopsy findings.
