(Waukee, IA) -- Waukee Police say a man they'd been looking for is in custody. Jamie Vanzuuk is accused of hitting an officer with a vehicle. Vanzuuk is facing multiple charges and was arrested in Des Moines last night. The officer is okay, and back on fully time duty.
Vanzuuk is being held in the Dallas County Jail and faces the following charges:
Interference with Official Acts-Causing Bodily Injury
Assault with Intent of Injury-Peace officer and others
Assault use/Display of a Weapon
Careless Driving
Reckless Driving
Eluding
Driving While Barred/Habitual Offender
Interference with Officials Acts-Dangerous Weapon.
