(Algona, IA) -- Two young brothers ages six and three, and their father are dead after a murder-suicide in northern Iowa's Kossuth County. The Iowa Department of Public Safety says 32-year-old Christopher Phelon, and his two children, six-year-old Logan Phelon, and three-year-old Seth Phelon were found shot to death at a home in Algona on July 5th. Investigators say Christopher Phelon, killed his two young sons, then took his own life.
Algona Police were called to 418 South Harlan Street, before 8 p.m. on July 5th, and discovered the three bodies.
