People in the town of 300 have had to wait for two years for clean water because of high manganese levels and not enough funds to replace it. City councilman Greg Irving tells WHO-13 people couldn't drink or use the water to cook with. People had to buy bottled water. $1.2 million in grants from the state helped pay for a new water system from the Xenia Rural Water District’s water.
