(Amana, IA) -- A pilot was able to walk away unhurt after his crop duster crashed into a corn field near Amana.

The Iowa County Sheriff’s Office says they responded to the crash around 2:10 p.m. Monday near the Amana airport. They say the pilot, 45-year-old Robert Garrett, lost power during takeoff. The 1976 Grumman bi-plane crop duster ended upside down in a nearby cornfield.

The National Transportation Safety Board plans to investigate.
