(Johnston, IA) -- Only a select few can buy the remaining tickets to see American Idol Maddie Poppe in Johnston. The concert during the Johnston Town Center Grand Opening August 28th is technically already sold out. But the town said on Facebook Thursday the remaining tickets are reserved for Johnston residents only. Crews have been seen all week working on the finishing touches for the new Town Center. It will be used for concerts and other outdoor events and serve as a focal point for the downtown area.
