(Ankeny, IA) -- Iowa State Representative John Landon has passed away. The Ankeny Republican died Thursday at 71-years-old. Landon is a Navy veteran and had served in the Iowa House since 2013. Iowa political leaders have voiced their support for Landon and his family, including Governor Kim Reynolds and Iowa House Speaker Pat Grassley.
