They already know there won't be a single Republican vote in favor, but Democrats don't seem to care.
The only remaining stumbling block appears to be the Parliamentarian who can rule that some of the items in the Budget which Democrats plan to force through using reconciliation, don't qualify.
Biden wants a pathway to citizenship for so-called Dreamers (DACA) - illegal aliens brought here by their parents. Last month a Judge ruled that no new "Dreamers" could be added. He also wants measures on Global Warming, social spending, and an extension of a child tax credit.
If he gets his way on DACA, these illegals would be protected from deportation, would get access to financial aid for school, driver's licenses and work authorization. It does not give them a path to citizenship, but Biden wants that in the budget Bill too.
After the meeting with just Democrats yesterday, where Biden laid out his plans, the President said it "went very well".
