(Council Bluffs, IA) -- The Iowa Department of Corrections is looking for a convict on escape status from the Council Bluffs Residential Facility. Authorities are looking for 29-yeary-old David William Lerette, who was convicted of Kidnapping 3rd Degree in Pottawattamie County.
Lerette is a 29-year-old black male, height 5'11", and weighs 163 pounds. He was admitted to the work release facility on June 30, 2021.
Persons with information on Lerette's whereabouts should contact local police.
