(Des Moines, IA) -- Rides at the Iowa State Fair's midway are being inspected Wednesday ahead of the Thursday opening.
The Iowa Division of Labor is inspecting every ride alongside a third-party inspection team.
Rides are also checked everyday during the fair. The Iowa State Fair also says there will be less rides this year because of staffing.
