(Des Moines, Iowa) -- The Des Moines Public School District is hosting a virtual meeting tonight to outline its COVID-19 plans.

The District says school leaders will detail plans to stop the spread of the virus in buildings and give more information about the online learning option for students in kindergarten through 8th grade. The meeting begins at 5:30 tonight and will be streamed on the district's YouTube Channel. School leaders will be answering questions from parents that are submitted in advance.
