The Taliban has hundreds of Billions of Dollars of US military equipment and we know this because our Government has told us.
"We don't have a complete picture, obviously, of where every article of defense materials has gone," National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan said in a short press briefing yesterday. "But certainly, a fair amount of it has fallen into the hands of the Taliban, and, obviously, we don’t have a sense that they are going to readily hand it over to us at the airport."
Afghanistan continues to be a source of US humiliation with thousands of Americans apparently trapped outside of the Kabul Airport and being told to shelter in place and with no plan whatsoever to get them out.
Here's a question though. They are now armed with sophisticated military equipment. Will we ever have to fight a now heavily armed Taliban again?
