One killed, one injured in Warren County, Iowa wrong-way crash

(Warren County, IA) -- A man is dead after a wrong-way, head-on crash in Warren County. The Iowa State Patrol says a Ford Explorer driven by 40-year-old Russell Crow of Milo was traveling east in the westbound lane on Nevada Street south of Indianola late last (Thursday) night, when he collided with a Chevy pick-up driven by 18-year-old Waylon Lawr. Crow's vehicle came to rest in the roadway. Crow died at the scene. Lawr's pick-up flipped on it's top and went into a ditch. Lawr was injured, a 20-year-old passenger in the truck was not hurt. The ISP says the accident happened at approximately 11:45 p.m.

The Iowa State Patrol says toxicology reports are pending.
