I simply cannot believe any American President would not use the might of our military to get every American home. We may not be negotiating with terrorists as Jen Psaki continues to say, but we are clearly taking orders from them.
On one level this is not hard. "Stand down and do as we say or you will die". Now I do understand that since we gave up some $85 Billion of American taxpayers' sophisticated equipment, it is harder than it should be. I do understand that since we gave up Bagram, it is harder than it should be, but every single US Veteran I've spoken to (and some active duty) believe we could still do it.
Unfortunately American leadership has left the world stage. Unfortunately American strength has been replaced by American weakness in the Oval Office. And this is not a Republican/Democrat thing either. If Bill Clinton were still in office, this would not be happening.
People all around the world have always known you don't mess with America or there will be a huge price to pay.
This President doesn't seem to believe that.
Yesterday while we were on the air, the U.S. Embassy told all Americans at Kabul Airport gates to "leave immediately". They added that no American should head to the airport. Now other countries have joined in and clearly many believe an attack is imminent.
So what do you think?
Will we get all Americans and Afghan friends out of the country by Tuesday?
