(Undated) -- Hurricane Ida's effects on oil production in the Gulf of Mexico will likely drive up gas prices in Iowa and Illinois.

Triple-A says how much prices go up and when will depend on how fast refineries can get power back on.

Triple-A says right now about 95 percent of Gulf oil and gas production is shut down by the hurricane.
