Teenager Arrested for East Des Moines Shooting

(Des Moines, IA) -- A teenager is arrested for a deadly shooting on Des Moines's east side. 17-year-old Danil Deng is charged with first-degree murder and two counts of attempted murder. He is accused of shooting and killing Frederick McCuller in the 1400 block of East 17th Street Monday night. Two other people were also shot that night but they survived. Police say Deng had a handgun connected to the shooting when he was arrested.
