(Des Moines, Iowa) -- A new automated traffic camera in downtown Des Moines will start issuing citations starting on Saturday.
The camera will issue $65 dollar tickets to drivers going 11 miles an hour or more over the posted 25 mile and hour speed limit. The camera monitors the 1400 block of Grand Avenue's westbound lanes by the Pappajohn Sculpture Park.
