(Des Moines, Iowa) -- One man is dead after a motorcycle crash in Des Moines Wednesday morning.
Des Moines Police say the crash happened just after 7:00am on the city's east side. Police say according to witnesses, the motorcyclist was driving at a very high rate of speed when he hit a truck that was leaving a convenience store.
The motorcyclist, a 45-year-old West Des Moines man, died at the hospital. His name as not been released at this time.
