(Lincoln, Nebraska) -- A new 50-state survey ranks Lincoln as one of the top 5 best state capitals to live in.
Lincoln ranks as the third best state capital to call home, according to a new survey from Smart Asset dot com.
Some of the factors that put Lincoln in the top five include a low unemployment of 2.5%, low property crime, and a higher high school graduation rate of 83.17%.
Other Midwest state capitals in the top 5 include Madison, Wisconsin in 1st place, and Pierre, South Dakota in second.
Des Moines, Iowa made the top ten in 10th place.
