(Des Moines, IA) -- Des Moines Police are investigating the 7th Homicide of 2021. Police have found a woman dead in south Des Moines on the 900 block of Randolph Street. Police say someone called out of concern for the woman last night over a dispute. Police say the 42-year-old woman appears to have died from unnatural causes. Detectives will give an update later Monday. There were 21 homicides in the city last year. 14 in 2019 and in 2018.
