(Des Moines, IA) -- A man who owns several Des Moines bars is accused of assaulting his ex-girlfriend. The Polk County Sheriff's Office says Steven McFadden turned himself in Monday morning and was charged with felony assault. McFadden owns Grump Goat, Sambetti's, and Tipsy Crow taverns. If he's convicted of a felony he won't be allowed to hold a liquor license.
