(Polk County, IA) -- A toddler is safe after an overnight high-speed chase in central Iowa. The Iowa State Patrol says the chase started in Hamilton County and continued south on I-35 through Story County. State Troopers ended the chase in Polk County, on I-80/35 near 2nd Avenue. The patrol says at times during the chase, speeds exceeded 100-miles per hour. WHO 13 reports a three year old child was found in the man's vehicle.
