(Mount Vernon, IA) -- A college in Iowa says they'll start paying some of its students' federal loans soon.

Cornell College in Mount Vernon says 65 first-year students will get the funding - up to $12,000 or half of anything under $12,000 at the time of graduation.

Students getting the funding will be required to graduate in four years, live on campus, stay enrolled full-time and will need to get good grades.

The first students eligible will be those enrolling in the 2022-2023 school year.
