(Des Moines, IA) -- Des Moines-based Meredith Corporation is being sold. The publishing company recently announced it's being bought out by New York-based IAC Interactive Corporation. Meredith will join IAC's Dot-dash digital publishing unit and the new company will be called Dot-dash Meredith. Meredith employs about 800 people in Des Moines.
