(Desoto, IA) -- Iowa State Patrol responded to a fatal accident near Desoto on Sunday afternoon. A Corvette lost control, causing the vehicle to enter the median and hit the cable guardrail. The 19-year-old driver was pronounced dead on the scene and the 24-year old passenger was transported to the hospital with serious injuries. The accident is still under investigation by police.
