(Union, IA) -- An Arkansas man is arrested for a Hardin County death.
The Hardin County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called to a home in Union about an unresponsive male shortly after 5:30 yesterday (Tue) morning. The homeowner, 74-year-old Steve Reece, was found inside the home.
Police say 22-year-old Osborn Eugene Gavel of Baxter, Arkansas, struck Reece. Gavel is charged with first-degree murder.
