(Beaverdale, IA) -- One person's in the hospital after an early-morning shooting in northwest Des Moines. Police say the shooting took place in the 3900 block of Urbandale Avenue in the Beaverdale neighborhood around 3:00 a.m. WHO-13 reports a car crashed into a phone pole after the driver was shot. A passenger was in the car too put was reportedly not injured. No details on a suspect or what led to the shooting.
