(Lincoln, NE) -- Sumatran tigers and snow leopards at the Lincoln Children's Zoo have tested positive for COVID-19.

Sarah Wood with the Lincoln Children's Zoo says animals were observed with symptoms consistent with the coronavirus. Fecal and nasal samples were tested from the tigers and leopards with some testing positive.

No other animals at the zoo are showing any signs of infection and the large cats are well-distanced from any visitors, halting any chance of animal to human transmission.

All animals are expected to make a full recovery.
