(Des Moines, Iowa) -- The City of Des Moines is considering a new community rec center on the city's north side.
The 12 million dollar project could renovate or completely rebuild the Grubb YMCA on 11th street. An architect introduced drawings of the new proposal at a public meeting last Thursday night. Two more public meetings on the proposal will be held on November 4th and 18th, both at 5:30pm at the Grubb YMCA.
