(Montezuma, IA) - The body found in an Iowa field two weeks ago is Xavier Harrelson.
The Poweshiek County Sheriff’s Department is confirming the identification, but is not releasing the cause of death.
On September 30, Harrelson’s remains were found outside of Montezuma, where the 10-year-old lived with his mother.
He was last seen on May 27, just days before his 11th birthday, while riding his bike.
