(Des Moines, IA) -- The next set of new Iowa political maps will be released this week. The Legislative Services Agency will release the maps Thursday for Iowa lawmakers to consider. The Iowa Senate rejected the first set of maps earlier this month with all Republicans voting against them and all Democrats voting for. If this set of maps is rejected the agency will redraw them again.
