(Des Moines, IA) -- Des Moines police are releasing more information about a homicide.
Police say on October 10th, 33-year-old Wichang Gech Chawech shot two people at the 500 block of Indianola Road. One victim, a 26-year-old male, was treated and released. The other, 26-year-old Nyamal Deng of Omaha, Nebraska, died on October 19th.
Chawech has been arrested on multiple charges, including first-degree murder and attempted murder. He has been booked into the Polk County jail.
